JOGA X : UPDATED FOR 2020-21
JOGA X is a development level that allows for more focus on execution and amplitude. The JOGA X level uses the JOGA 7 score sheets, which are available on the JOGA website. Event requirements and composition have been adjusted from the standard NFHS CRITERIA.
Level X Sanctioned session cannot be combined with any other level or league. JOGA X sessions do not require a JOGA Judge. Instead a Coach may be used to judge events.
Same as JOGA 7: There are skill restrictions on each event (see the restriction section). No natural superiors may be performed, specifically this means no superiors other than a series of handsprings on floor (will be given medium credit for each skill).
Same as JOGA 7: Approved Vaults are listed on the Judges Score Sheet.
Bar routines require a minimum of 5 skills (consistent with NFHS rules).
Floor routines are performed to music. Each music will have a max 1 min, no words, music.
Floor routines may not exceed 1 minute.
A springboard or mini tramp may be used when competing vault.
Scores will be flashed after an athlete has finished her routine.
THERE IS NO DIRECT COMPETITION AT JOGA X. RIBBONS ARE PRESENTED AFTER EACH ROUTINE BY THE ACTING JUDGE. The 1st, 2nd , or 3rd place ribbon depends on their score.
